Sponsorship

The Lions Club of Hallett Cove & Districts runs successful services and events to a professional standard, and every dollar we raise from the public goes back to local causes. We therefore cannot fund corporate clothing for our volunteers, and given the many hours they give, we do not expect them to buy it. We invite two local businesses to become our Founding Sponsors, helping provide proper uniforms and standing visibly alongside an organisation the community trusts.

Our volunteers run an op shop, a breakfast cafe, meeting rooms for hire and booked BBQs. We want every volunteer in a proper uniform, with our sponsors acknowledged accordingly. Your sponsorship reaches people in several places, both in person and online:

• The Shed, our dedicated op shop, opens to the public twice a week and is always busy.
• The Barn, our community kitchen, serves affordable breakfasts every Saturday morning to solid local patronage.
• Meeting rooms with catering are available for hire, where hirers and their guests see our sponsors.
• Booked BBQs run about a dozen times a year, with our uniformed volunteers and gazebo on show.
• Online, our comprehensive website and our Facebook and Instagram pages have thousands of followers, and we regularly post in local community Facebook groups.

Our Founding Sponsors

We limit our sponsors to two, to maximise exclusivity. Each Founding Sponsor provides $3,000 in this inaugural year, in cash or in goods and services of equivalent value, such as uniforms, printing, embroidery, food supplies or trade services, and receives:

• Their logo, equal in size to the other Founding Sponsor’s, on all 50 volunteer tee shirts, and on our baseball caps, new aprons and hi-vis vests
• “Founding Sponsor” title on our website, posts and signage
• Their logo, alongside the other Founding Sponsor’s, in the banner at the top of our website’s home page
• A pinned Facebook and Instagram introduction for a month, a Sponsor Spotlight post and regular mentions
• News shared in local community groups at launch and at renewal
• Signage at The Shed, The Barn, our meeting rooms and our BBQ gazebo

Where your support goes

Founding Sponsorships pay for our 50 volunteer tee shirts (estimated at $45 each, $2,250 in total), together with aprons, baseball caps and hi-vis vests, with any surplus going to community projects. Once the uniforms are in use, we will thank our sponsors publicly on our website and social media pages. At the end of the year, we will discuss our achievements, for you to decide if you wish to continue supporting us.
