The ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Heron Way Reserve, Hallett Cove, was held at dawn on 25 April 2026. Now in its 12th year at Hallett Cove, the service continues to be strongly supported by the 9th Combat Service Support Battalion, Warradale.
The event saw another huge turnout, with multiple thousands of local residents attending, and was organised by the Lions Club of Hallett Cove and Districts. Dignitaries in attendance included local federal and state members, representatives of the Australian Defence Force, along with participants from schools, community organisations, and emergency services.
This year’s service was a resounding success, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from those in attendance. The weather was kind, contributing to a moving and memorable occasion for all present.
Members of the public attended via Heron Way Reserve, with access from Dutchman Drive and Grand Central Drive. As in previous years, the Hallett Cove Beach Railway Station carpark proved a popular option.
The Lions Club of Hallett Cove and Districts thanks the community for its continued support and participation.
